Andrew is a native of the Corn Belt, growing up in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois - home of Agrible headquarters!
Andrew attended Parkland College in 2009 and obtained his Associate of Science with an emphasis in Earth Sciences, and Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University in 2012.
His career in weather began early, joining the weather department at WILL Radio/TV at the University of Illinois as an assistant to Chief Meteorologist Ed Kieser at age 16. Returning home to Champaign-Urbana in 2013, Andrew started Chambana Weather where he began disseminating daily weather information to local media outlets across East-Central Illinois.
Andrew developed a passion for the weather early on, specifically being drawn to the severe thunderstorms and tornadoes that impact the Midwest during the spring and summer months.
When he’s not forecasting the weather, you’ll find Andrew experiencing the outdoors by camping or hiking in the woods with his family and dog. He’s also a life-long Chicago Cubs fan.
Growing up surrounded by agriculture and weather, Agrible was a natural fit. He’s been following the evolution of Agrible over the last couple of years, and is excited for the opportunity to join the team and help revolutionize the way that critical weather information is delivered to the world of agriculture.
Agrible is grateful to have Andrew Pritchard as part of our team! We are excited to watch him grow along with us. Welcome, Andrew!
