Kristen Sackley recently joined the Agrible Team as Director of Brand and Communications Strategy at the Champaign, Illinois headquarters. Sackley graduated from the University of Illinois in 2008, where she studied Advertising and English. She returned to complete her Masters in Business Administration in 2012.

She has held several leadership roles in the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana, most recently Vice President of Finance. She currently is a member of the Champaign County Farm Bureau, where she is a Young Ag Leaders committee member.
Sackley is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Ranger and Tracker. This love for animals led her to a spot on the Board of Directors for the Champaign County Humane Society.
We wanted to hear more about her and her goals while here at Agrible, so, Sackley sat down with Agrible’s Marketing Copywriter and Editor, Sara Stalter.
What excites you most about joining the Agrible Team?
Agrible is a company whose value is very much defined by the talent of their employees. I am excited to join the Agrible Team because I will have the opportunity to work with so many dedicated and skilled individuals in a collaborative environment. Building something from the ground up is a lot of work, but in my opinion, it’s the most rewarding type of work.
Describe your role and goals at Agrible.
As Director of Brand and Communications Strategy, I hope to help the team rise to the next level with our marketing and communications efforts. The Agrible brand is a strong, young brand, but my ultimate goal is for Agrible to be the household name for farm-management software across all growers, worldwide. By bringing both the marketing, design, and outreach teams together with a solid strategy, I believe we can achieve brand awareness and brand equity goals.
What do you like about the team/collaborative aspect?
I love working with the best of the best, and it’s even better when we can all collaborate on projects. I am a big fan of teamwork and collaboration, probably because I am a pretty social and outgoing person. In other words, I like to talk. :) But I truly think the best work gets done when experts work together.
How can Agrible’s Morning Farm Report help growers streamline their operations?
One unique perspective I have is that I came to Agrible from a forward-facing grower relations role. Having worked side by side with over 200 growers for the past several years, I feel like I have an interesting perspective on what they want and need to improve their farm operations. After a few days with Agrible, I found myself asking why every one of my former customers wasn’t using this software. It offers growers so many abilities to not only streamline logistics but also save money. With the commodity prices low right now, many growers are having trouble marketing their grain for even break-even prices. Software like Morning Farm Report gives them the easy solution to find ways to save money, and turn their operation back to profitable.
Agrible is grateful to have Kristen Sackley as part of our team! We are excited to watch her grow along with us. Welcome, Kristen!
